My favorite app, experience-wise, that I use daily (that's not Warpcast) is the Shop mobile app. It's just really well-designed, allows me to track my packages, shop from a single place for indie brands, and get timed deals on personalized recommended products. Favorite app, experience-wise, that I rarely use is Hotel Tonight. It's well-designed, also has some light gamification, and is an absolute breeeeeze to use. Just don't have a need for hotels too often 🤷‍♀️

I was just thinking how satisfying shop app has made it to simply input the 2fa code from email to app. Not that its that seamless but there is something about the UI that makes it feel good.

So glad I'm not the only one and I know exactly that feeling of satisfaction you're talking about! I've really been loving that keyboard shortcut for 2FA c/p (not sure if this is just a native Apple thing now or not). Not seamless, but so much better than constantly context-switching. There are so many magical moments in the Shop user journey, even outside of the app (i.e., "Track with shop" and all things tracking w/neutrality). They suck you in with that simple checkout on other sites, make it easy for tracking, then once you're in the app...BOOM, perceived state > expected state. A great consumer app to study in terms of shifting from a "nice-to-have" to something closer to a "need-to-have" consumer app w/delight.
