It's ok, but if you really want to learn from this exercise. take the same size sheet of paper for every drawing, and once yo made the first 1hr drawing. don't look at the reference or the previous drawing again. don't do the portraits in the same paper, thats the point of this. it's not easy but believe me, it works! 
Let me see what you've  done, I'm curious!
