"It's better to be a warrior in a garden than a gardener in a war" Miyamoto Musashi I don't really know if that phrase was said by Miyamoto Musashi but it illustrates my way of thinking very well. I educate my son with love, so that he will be a good person with the ability to help others, but I know that life is not a paradise of fraternity. As long as that utopia is not a reality, I will teach my son to embrace and love his neighbor but also to hit first and hard if injustice one day comes in the form of violence.

You are such a great father, brother! What I would add is that while teaching your son to hit first make sure to hit with kindness not other things for it is only through kindness that justice will be made and he will be the most fulfilled! Being kind doesn’t mean that you can’t hit or make justice… You are just doing it differently…🌹
