i think we could argue this forever and still not have a solid answer. same goes for almost every financial asset.  

buying nvidia stock is a financial investment, and meme coins and nfts have charts too, so you can see them as investments.

i've collected thousands of nfts over the years. why? i liked them and never tried to sell. sometimes you buy just to have it. that's collecting. now that nfts have charts, i don’t think they’re any less of a collectible. you just buy x amount of eth of an nft instead of x amount of nft. plus, you have liquidity when you want to sell.  

idk, would love to hear opinions on why to buy or not buy.
