How many Eddies have their name misspelled "Eddy" all the time?

Sometimes I have people message me "hey Eddie!" in a group chat where my name is on the screen. Not sure how this happens.

Im Polish Born, Dutch and lived in Germany Netherlands and now Spain. Eddie sounds very Dutch way of saying it.

People always think im Hersch, Hirsch, Harsh,

But never Hersh

Not sure why

Let's be honest, Eddy is a very uncommon way to spell it lol

I routinely get emails, to erin@, where the greeting is some derivative of “hey Eric…”
