What would you say to a person that thinks that crypto products (stuff built on the networks themselves) are solutions seeking a problem? I had an incredibly spirited discussion with a non crypto friend of mine and was low key struggling to defend crypto enabled products. Help?

I think this is a good thing. It's creating the future. If it was already here it wouldn't be the future but the past.

Over the years I've let people's skepticism of new technology undermine my confidence when I should have just said fuck it, just do it. So many opportunities missed, and even the failures would have been valuable learnings.

So assume there will be a problem in the future and then solve for it now. But isn’t that assumption just a self fulfilling prophecy? Like what if the solution is just perpetuating the problem?
