Are wearables worth it and, if so, which one? Considering getting an Apple Watch but have noticed friends using Oura Rings, Whoop Bands, Garmin or Fitbit trackers and a bunch of other alternative wearables lately.

I have an Oura ring but mainly use it for taking sleep. Also have a Fitbit watch which I use for tracking activities and telling the time(!) I find all the data available to be overwhelming at times.

I think the trending information is the most useful, which means you need to be consistent with collecting the data. e.g. this is me recovering from covid:

WOW! It’s pretty incredible to see the data so tangibly reflect your recovery. Also really glad you’re doing better! I got covid for the first time last year and it was rough.
