Watched the clubbing episode of spaced again last night. That whole series is a masterclass of visual storytelling, but this episode has to be a personal favourite of mine.

Comedy is an incredibly powerful tool for communicating a range of different emotions and Spaced absolutely nails it.

Amazing what's possible with a great script, talented acting, and innovative direction.

Tyres: Last night was an A-1, tip top clubbing jam fair. It was a sandwich of fun on ecstacy bread, wrapped up in a big bag like disco fudge. It doesn’t get much better than that, I just wish sometimes I could control these FUCKING MOOD SWINGS!

I recently rewatched both seasons, love everything about it!

It's so good. Hard to believe they made this 25 years ago. Watched more tonight, the robot wars one and the Dwayne Benzy imaginary guns one. They pack so much into each episode. 

The Robot wars one is almost as good as the clubbing one. One flew over the cuckoo's nest shout out, Brian with his art installation, Phillipa Forrester examining the chopper, Metallicock. Genius.
