Coastal fog starting to roll in this evening, taking a bit of late day solar energy away from the fields.  

We lease a 10 acre footprint within a larger farm where the owners produce hay, run layers, and occasionally a few beef cows.

We are a less then a mile from the harbor.

Great conditions for planting though…

Solar panels aka zucchini leaves starting to size up for long days ahead.

Capturing solar energy > converting it to sugar and plant metabolites > growing edible fruit & vegetables suitable for our nourishment.

Plants can grow larger leaves (zinc) and or thicker leaves (iron) to capture solar energy.

Growing veggies for the fine folks of Southeastern Massachusetts, w/ a focus on nutrient quality. Always interested in the evolution of digital payments.  🎩 

Nature’s design is amazing. The plant is kinda low so its leaves need to be big enough in case the surrounding plants cast shade and zucchini grows quick, perhaps so that it can be resilient in many hardizones. Plus it’s super nutrient rich. So it needs a lot of solar power for many reasons!
