I've always been conflicted about real vs Kindle books; I prefer the former, but often the latter allows me to read more (eg reading at night)

I have come to a conclusion though

I won't be buying any more ugly books - which in most cases means any book published after the 1980s

Personally, late 1800s is 🤌

What are some of the book covers you find beautiful?

Oh actually I wasn't talking specifically about covers - more about quality of paper, binding, material and typesetting

Much prefer a hardcover book with a blank or solid color cover than a poorly made paperback with a shiny cover (as beautiful as may be)

I prefer minimalistic paperbacks for ease of carrying them around
