Emmeline Pankhurst believed that women's suffrage would fundamentally transform political life, creating a new sense of altruism and morality.  She founded the Suffragette group to win women's suffrage in Britain.

The tireless efforts of Pankhurst and other activists eventually succeeded, and in 1918, women in Britain gained the right to vote in general elections, although this right was initially granted only to women over the age of 30. In 1928, this right was extended to all women over the age of 21.💥👌👍
