following you! I have no skills, tools or materials to build one, but I want to. Why did you choose steel and do you have tools and skills to build it? Welding scares me. Grinding even more.

It’s always been a dream in the back of my mind. Plan is to bronze braze the tubes together. I took a couple local welding/brazing classes at a hacker space and figure I can cobble it together with hand tools and a torch. I’ll be sure to post any meaningful progress, though it’s going to take me a while just to procure the tools and materials. 

I chose steel because I found TIG welding and Bronze brazing to be be really fun and don’t want to deal with epoxy in liquid or dust form. 

Really inspired by custom builders on this pod. Learned a ton from listening to all the episodes.
