There’s another quote I love about laughter about being involuntary. I find experiencing this type of laughter exposes truths about myself to me. Like if I hear a joke and can’t help but crack up, even if the joke is off color for example, I’m like…huh…well I guess I find that kinda thing funnier than I expected. One of the reasons comedy is one of my favorite art forms…when done well it reveals our boundaries to ourselves.

Same. Laughter is such a gift. And a medicine.
