It do be like that, but I feel like that's what @earth2travis is speaking to. We should be able to just work and be ourselves and do what we love and be social about it. Shouldn't have to grind a social network for clout just to get paid.

Apparently! I think it's just a result of extractive economies. The web2 model trained us to grind. We all grew up playing video games that taught us to grind. They tricked us into grinding for our pittance so they could extract all the value (data). We live in a grind-core culture now. But it's changing. The sooner we stop grinding to produce data other agents can extract value from, the sooner we can get back to just living our lives.
