my engagement on X is ~10x compared to FC. what are the best arguments to keep posting on FC?

my main reason to be here at this point are the cool people that are only on farcaster and not on X, and that I find it worthwhile to support the cause. I like FC’s decentralization pillar a lot.

I’m probably not using FC right/effectively. For instance I’m not really interested in tipping. I’m interested in exchanging genuine and/or intellectual conversation, ideas, and inspiration. It seems as if one is not tipping or a very large account, engagement is fleetingly low. Pls guide me.

I’m a writer and an editor. I love art, literature, music, and to drink good coffee. I practice Ashtanga yoga. I’m here to connect and learn. 

I used to feel that way, yet as I ran an experiment to keep posting the same things on X I have forged many interesting connections and had enjoyable conversations too. However I’m more often confronted with things outside of my interests as X is so much larger and there are so many different types of people on there

For me, it is all about people and connection. I feel that on X, there is no conversation and exchange. And here we have plenty good ones.

Thanks for sharing! That's truly amazing engagement, clm. I very much understand being here for builder spirit, and degen (although I personally don't tip/use it anymore).

I have 21k followers on x, I get approx 8-9k likes easily on each tweets, and I'm here because of DEGEN and devs

It genuinely seems to me that the majority of people on FC are primarily interested in tipping/getting tips and the conversations/looking at the art etc are secondary. Not that anything is wrong with that, it’s just that this characteristic is not really the right fit for me personally.

It's not just you i have 22k on X, i barely get any engagement here compared to there. I think for me there's just less people here interested in art and more interested in coins.
