yeah. It’s kinda funny in my case cause there are plenty of people I’ve made connections with that are mostly only on FC, and others mostly only on X. Only comparatively few are active on both. Hence I keep using both. It’s really important to be mindful of how X is configured/who to follow/engage with, otherwise the timeline gets polluted with too much junk which is detrimental for my focus on good things.

true! although i don’t spend much time on X, whenever i do i find some really good threads/conversations. if it’s net positive, i am okay with spending some time there too. also, you’re a great follow on X, adding good content to my TL!

likewise, glad to have followed you there now too! I found that there are many smaller accounts hidden among a vast sea of noise that have interesting things to share (gotta find the real nerds on all sorts of topics) so I’ve made it one of my quests to find them, enriching my ‘Following’ timeline. The For You timeline is harder to clean up as it’s subject to the algo recommendations but I’ve managed to get it into a much better state too.
