Myth: Is Cola zero safer for teeth?

Why does caries develop?
Under the influence of acids and sugar, the enamel weakens, the teeth become more vulnerable, so caries spreads faster among fans of soda with sugar. 

The most important myth is that sugar is a substrate for bacterial growth, so Zero is safer. So? 

The study of 2024 :
In Vitro Effect of Streptococcus mutans Biofilm Produced in Sugar-Free Coca-Cola on Enamel

Various media, including 10% glucose, were compared according to the growth rate of streptococci in it.  

Flora showed a Zero increase commensurate with regular sugar-based cola and 25% higher than in the control group.

In zero, the worst indicators of acidity were shown - PH, which also decreased lower over time (to about 3).

The conclusion is that we drink more water, my friend.
