Assuming this means no more FIP-2 as currently constructed once things are ironed out and channels move to the protocol?

Gotcha, that makes sense. Curious to see how things play out and as always I think you & the team are taking the right approach by testing features thoroughly before scaling them/adding to the protocol 🫡

It may still be FIP-2 compatible but no promises. Want to optimize for the winning configuration long-term.
