fun little weekend project — set up the old replicator on a spare raspberry pi because my railway bill was getting a bit out of hand

always thought it would be nice to run indexers/servers like this on a home machine too :D

*huge emphasis on tweaking MAX_PAGE_SIZE because I brought it down from 3000 to 250 and I’m still reaching heap out of memory errors 😅

steps for anyone wondering:
1) install raspberry pi os 32bit
2) install docker & node
3) get the old replicator from farcaster kit’s repo
4) mess with MAX_PAGE_SIZE then run sudo docker compose up and you should be good to go 🫡
