great points, fully agree. AI branded wearables are taking on too much for their V1s and setting themselves up for disappointment straight out the gate

i also feel like some of them are missing the plot by *not* being always on and gathering context in the background - otherwise you're barely more useful than siri

thanks! and yeah for sure — I think even if humane’s v1 was an always on siri powered by something like perplexity that can search the web it would be much more useful

Agreed, Tab is much closer to a single purpose product from what I saw in the early demos 

I’m also excited to try Rabbit— while I can already guess what some of its limitations might be, it’s LAM is pretty unique and gives it a leg up from other devices in that it can(allegedly) do stuff for you online

Avi schiffman’s tab is doing the always on context gathering thing and the pendant is doing it in a more constrained way. Excited for those devices. Rabbit and humane pin need more of that to justify standalone hardware imo
