A good illustration of why the problem of filtering out "spam" is challenging.

Most of these accounts are not spam. They are uninteresting to this particular person. One person's spam is another person's friend. It's a relative definition.

If you don’t follow these users, even with the power badge, low likelihood you’ll see them. 

And if they are really offensive, just mute.

I don't know anyone's FIDs so I made a quick spreadsheet with the OpenRank and Airstack Data I had from early June so I could see who these accounts were. While I don't like any of my friends being called spammers, it was an interesting look at what different people consider "spammy" vs what I consider spam.  If anyone has updated OpenRank data or Airstack data in a spreadsheet, I'd love a copy.  I'm learning a lot about Farcaster looking at this data.

the best accounts that are working hard are marked as spam

many of the big accounts are where they are because new users are automatically forced to follow them…and if not that its just because they were early and have lots of followers

this is actually a list of accounts growing their following wirhout special treatment, and thats why its crazy to call it spam.
