Users with priority mode turned on, like priority mode. Users without the power badge, don’t like priority mode and want more visibility to users with priority mode turned on. Making power badge more permissive, increases spam. Makes everyone unhappy (except the spammers) Solve for X.

Just remove priority mode, it is not difficult to mute spammers. Since I got my power badge I’ve had many more people engage with me in replies and I can only equate that to them having priority mode on and not seeing my comment. Before a power badge I felt like I had no voice. Warpcast will never scale this way.

It’s really not that hard to mute peope. I rarely see spam now. Getting a power badge is a huge challenge and we lose a lot of quality FID’s who go back to Twitter and make it very hard for projects building on Base like @cattown to build a community here.

@cattown (who is partnering with @coinbase) had almost given up on their Warpcast presence. I’m helping the devs reach the community now but they can’t get their message out without a powerbadge. They can’t post videos explaining their project either.

It's a brand account. Not really a focus for us. Show me an account on Twitter with 10K followers and posting high quality, interesting content that hasn't been able to get the power badge on Farcaster.

Hi Dan, do you envision Warpcast a place more for personal accounts rather than brand accounts then? Trying to figure out @cattown's strategy when it comes to Warpcast for the future based on this comment and it sounds like we'd be better off just using our personal accounts and discussing development and art creation

Ok understood. Getting builders on Base to adopt the platform sounds like a desired outcome too. I could see them using the new channel norms to build a token gated community here instead of Telegram or Discord and that being beneficial for the platform by bringing in new users but understand your focus.
