Interesting exit polling data from Associated Press / Fox News If you don't think Democrats at the party of the rich, maybe time to update your priors. https://x.com/PatrickRuffini/status/1854067762517160308

Then what is Trump's incentive to grow the economy and make more people wealthy? Ofc the ultra wealthy will always vote red because they wanna remain ultra wealthy.

Plenty of billionaire Democrats. His incentive to grow the economy is it benefits everyone. The economy under the first term was doing quite well until COVID. If you disagree with that, you're in the minority (since the majority of people just voted for him).

I would love to be proven wrong. Almost each R presidency has grown the economy in short term but has left issues behind (Reagan, Bush 2) because trickle down doesn't work. It will be the same this time, most likely.

To make it fair: the CARES Act was under Trump ($1200 + $600) checks. Biden's admin did the 3rd round $1400. But you are right they are comparable. Neither tho were followed by 1987 and 2008 recessions as a consequence. Anyway, I am open to be proven wrong!
