I'm skeptical you have a strong understanding of the history of the 2nd Amendment.

What history? As it’s rooted in the founding documents or later history?

Now I’m curious what your position is. Have you talked about it before? I feel like I have a strong understanding of the history of the 2A, but I wouldn’t put it as my favorite amendment tho. But it’s kinda the one that protects all the others, right? I’m personally a big fan of the 4A. 🤷🏻♂️

Shouldn't we go back earlier than that to understand the history of the 2nd Amendment? Like the English Bill of Rights of 1689, which guaranteed protestants the right to bear arms, or the US state constitutions (that pre-dated the US constitution) which guarantee the same right.
