i don't think this is a real problem worth solving rn if the product is great people will find ways to join it focus on making it so great that people jump through hoops to use it

Fair point but a lot of crypto people use desktop at a higher rate than the average person If crypto people are still the main growth target then it seems like enabling a desktop sign-up path could onboard more people

I'm a desktop girlie. Fingers on the keyboard. Mobile-only sign up was not a barrier to me onboarding. I might be on my computer all the time, but my phone is right next to me. More and more, I have to have my phone for sign-ins anyway - my university uses two-factor with an authenticator app on the phone. If mobile sign-up is a barrier to the user, the user is probably not technically savvy enough to handle being on Farcaster in the first place.

How about retroactive rebate for invites? Let's say I invite 10 people. 8 of them sticks around after a month and contributes to the Farcaster ecosystem. I get the warps back for those 8 folks and I can use that to invite more folks.

Warpcast and Farcaster don't need to be these other apps Dan. Nobody said it's finished work, it's all progress and they are both still growing. Even the few apps you mentioned after all these years people still report bugs. Keep focused we are moving forward not backwards 👏👏
