Creating an /fc-updates channel for important Farcaster updates

The channel will be broadcast only, and @dwr.eth and i will be the only ones who can post. 

Follow this channel if you want to keep up with the latest and greatest changes to Farcaster (and Warpcast, when relevant)

Small update for channel passes

You can now set a channel pass price to 1,000,000 warps—effectively gating who can create a new cast in your channel. 

If someone does buy your channel pass, just revoke it and as the host you keep the warps.

Will have a way to gift channel passes without warps soonish.

As we iterate on the channel pass model, we have a clear idea on how to decentralize this and get it onchain.

Im really curious about how this will be integrated onchain and if users will be able to trade/sell memberships.

Will be assigned to a FID, so outside of selling your FID (a bad idea generally), no.

It's also challenging to control for quality if users have the ability to trade their membership. Sounds like skin in the game, without the speculation. I like it.
