Posit: Growing DAU is the hardest problem in crypto. That's why most founders / companies aren't focused on it. Someone else's problem to solve.

Corollary: just wait for the next bull market and then they will come.

Do the "Thanks!" reply guys and "🚀" 1 million Discord messages represent DAUs?

If yes, is there or should there be a different "quality DAU" metric as well?

Seems like there is utility-driven DAU and speculative-driven DAU, but the fundamental/lasting growth/value all comes from growing utility-driven DAU.
