Figured worth making my recent-ish policy explicit: if you're unnecessarily negative, I'm just going to unfollow you. I don't have time to spend fighting. Criticism and feedback are welcome; but it's possible to provide both without unnecessary amounts of negativity.

"If I question something that you're doing or criticize, how do I know if you're going to unfollow me?" FAFO. :) But in all seriousness, this is not hard for most people. Be civil! Avoid personal attacks! Take a deep breath before firing off a reactionary cast. This is all advice I have to give myself, too. And totally reasonable for people to unfollow me for this (or any reason, really).

it’s easy to get emotionally heated at times (which usually comes from a place of not feeling understood) but this is also a two-way street — it’s hard to understand what state the other person we’re discussing is in as we lack a lot of context clues a lil effort in compassion and attempting to understand helps everything go that little bit smoother (this is me not attacking you, merely adding to your point)
