I’m excited about Warpcast Wallet bc the synthesis of social + payments is a huge opportunity.

Right now content + network effects are concentrated on the major platforms, and payments are all external. This creates a lot of friction for creators.

With WW you now have those together. It’s frictionless. That means more ways to monetize, easier ways to monetize, less friction, and a higher take rate for creators.

You don’t need to overcomplicate it with tokens, NFTs, etc. Just being able to seamlessly move USDC cheaply and instantaneously opens up a huge design space that will appeal to even non crypto natives.

would be cool if base made it possible to earn yield on the usdc just for holding it in the farcaster wallet

also any direct on/offramp where i could connect my bank and only pay gas fees, at that point 1 USDC truly equals $1

Showed my girlfriend how Warpcast now has a wallet built in and she instantly ‘got it’ 

Having a feed w/ apps w/ a wallet built in is an EASY sell to anyone

and directly mint on the same application is massive. No more extensions!

I'm having hard fomo right now :)  ready with my usdc and eth lol

All that remains is to wait for the artists' assignments so that customers can make immediate payments directly

a real crypto usecase, exited that it’s happening here first
