What's one thing that would make the Farcaster protocol better for you?

Letting clients attach a metadata URI to a cast could open up for interesting possibilities.

One example:
A video app that links casts to a video via FIP-2 but uses metadata to associate the cast to a specific video timestamp. The feed can be recreated on video playback.

Could you start by doing what YouTube does and add the timestamp to the URL in the embed?

Another example is being able to attach prompt metadata to a cast for clients that integrate generative models. Other clients could show which model, prompt and params were used to generate the cast (text, img, etc.) and even support remix functionality based on that metadata.
