This is the weirdest thing that Warpcast does. No other app does this - why not just let the App Store do its thing?

Because most teams don't ship multiple builds a day to public.

It's an OTA from Expo. So the App Store version hasn't changed. It won't update until you restart. So people hear about a new feature, see they have an updated version in the App Store and are confused.

I'm still honestly surprised apples iron grip hasn't stopped expo from shipping this feature. Tho I havent built for the app store in a couple years...
