We had it before. It’s pretty challenging to build 2024-level UX while encrypted with a small team. Opted for a simpler system for now.

WhatsApp, iMessage and Signal are the three at-scale e2ee messaging apps. And Signal UX definitely clunkier than the other two (but to their credit, both are using Signal’s algo)

I downloaded signal and never used it. Having said that, I ignore my group chats on telegram too 😁
