The Meta AR glasses are cool until you find out that they are $10K and you can't buy them. Say what you want about the Vision Pro (they 100% botched Day 1 content and getting developers to build), it's $3K and available for sale. Expect v2 and v3 to get cheaper and lighter. You're not going to beat Apple by shipping cool concept videos with journalists.

Vision pro will get lighter, but won't get cheaper. Just check all the historical prices of iphones and theirs prices on the launch day. https://www.androidauthority.com/iphone-price-history-3221497/

That's incorrect. iPhones have gotten cheaper both for the same model (as technology curve) and on a relative basis the latest new iPhone is cheaper on an overall unit basis if you adjust for two important factors: 1. There's been ~55% inflation since 2007. 2. Original iPhone required a 2 year contract with a carrier. So it was subsidized.

Incorrect. the price didn't go down, the purchase power increased due to inflation. When adjusted for inflation, most things get cheaper, especially in technology because of adoption. So, we can't use inflation card everywhere.
