If you told me in 2005 (or 2015) the left would be torching the leading American electric car brand I would have laughed at you.

Sure, but I find it funny that the company doing the most for electrification (supercharger network is important!) is vilified because of politics.

For many, climate is about politics first, climate second.

Agreed but my point stands — one prominent EV manufacturer is meaningless from a climate perspective without the infrastructure and widespread adoption federal policy promised
