I don't understand the negativity. We're giving the top 100 casters $5 in USDC every day. No other conditions or gotchas. Just a small thank you for contributing something valuable. We also tried to make the algorithm more friendly to smaller accounts (by normalizing followers). (He has claimed he muted me, yet...)

okay in @timdaub.eth's defense, i don't think he was being critical of farcaster but rather of the crypto space generally all of these memecoins and tipping tokens that are driven by speculation and often pump have made a group of people go "ugh, $5? really?" the issue isn't warpcast, the issue is crypto at large lol

Tim's post wasn't an ad hominem attack, he was critiquing broader behaviors in the crypto space, not attacking you personally. His point is worth considering (e.g. imagine how cool it would be getting paid in Farcaster tokens) so please put feelings aside here. If anything, his feedback could be really valuable. Appreciate the hard work you're putting in
