One misconception I see about spam labeling: "I'm a real human. I'm not a bot."

Claiming "I'm not a bot" doesn't change the quality of your content. If you're farming replies and not being thoughtful, that's spam.

And saying "Oh, I was just hoping to make some money, I'll do better in the future" doesn't work. Because every spammer will say the same thing.

It's not hard to not be spammy. Just cast a little less, be a little more thoughtful.

Eradicated greed can’t go away by “casting less” imho.

If they all say the same thing (oh, I was just hoping to make some money..) , it’s not about quality, it’s a bunch of greedy mfers trying to be smarter.

Tough reality: a bad enough translation is still bad content. If you do it enough, that's spammy. Why should anyone be forced to pay attention to bad content? If you don't respect the attention of the reader, they will just use the app less.

Not agains that, but I still believe in the power of people.
