1/ Farcaster onchain signers - Signers are onchain which gives more control to developers - There is a cost associated with onchain - Most users are on mobile - Apple doesn't allow crypto in-app payments - Make it easy w/o crypto is best path for most people - It’s 100% possible to create signers outside of Warpcast

The Warpcast desktop app is deprecated. Everything happens on mobile because we can ensure user has access to Farcaster-associated mnemonic within the app.
