Reframed my in practice definitions of democracy, oligarchy and monarchy. I don't agree with Curtis on a lot, but I think he's spot on wrt that point (and the broader Cathedral / post-FDR America thesis). 

Also motivated me to explore other thinkers like Burnham, Machiavelli, Carlyle, etc.

As in the Asimov series or something else?
