Fair, I’m in bw US & European as I want a min safety net somewhat higher than in US but not as much (wrong) incentives as in Germany where people take off temporarily, part-time or full-time

I had the best tier plan at Google and I would not describe US health insurance as good. Spent tens of hours on the phone almost every year arguing with insurance companies who shuffled around filing codes at random intervals to break the clinic filing flows, retroactively deny coverage they already agreed to, etc.
