THERE ARE NO REWARDS FOR RUNNING A HUB

Not now, not in the future. 

It will only cost you money.

Could this strategy, of spreading misleadingly the idea that running a hub could bring some kind of reward, be considered an attempt to attack the ongoing growth and stability of Farcaster?

people in crypto are trained to think that doing anything in a decentralized protocol is EV+

That’s true. So I guess the only way is to guarantee they understand there is no gain from that, at least just for the sake of creating it and nothing more. Only potential harm. You guys really seem to be in the right path in order to fight this. I’ll be sure to spread the word as well as a way to continue the spread of the good info.
