Any tips for helping a 10 month old and a 2.5 year old clear up chest congestion? They're over the active sickness but feels like the congestion lingers for weeks.

Our kids (4.5 & 3) and most at school have the same thing. I had something similar a few months ago, went to a doc-in-the-box and ended up getting an inhaler which helped. Might run it back.

What does the inhaler do?

It was like a steroid to relax the muscles around your airways so you don't cough. (Clearly, I'm not a doctor, but it worked and I was no longer coughing or congested)

Seconding the inhaler rec… sometimes inflammation can present as congestion. All that coughing agitates and the agitation can cause more coughing. The inhaler breaks the cycle. Always consult with your doctor tho :)
