Apple is the anti should. Especially for v1 iPhone. Extremely opinionated. They are a how culture, not a should culture in terms of product choices.

My point was that wallets should act like the iphone and be opinionated here. Users demand private key exports, wallets shouldn't give it to them.

The difference is there are strict legal rules and liability around apps that hold “funds”. Not the case with most software.
