🚨Changes to Moxie Rewards just went live -- as discussed on Moxie Community Call earlier today:

Since Moxie launched -- & especially since we leveled the playing field with FarBoosts 2 wks ago -- there's been a 50% overall increase in likes, replies, recasts, quote casts on Farcaster

Since FarBoost launched this also led to daily Moxie Rewards emissions growing from ~5M/day to ~10M/day

The Moxie Protocol Whitepaper foresaw this, & prescribes regular adjustments for growth

as such, the following changes just went into effect:

Recasts & Quote go from giving 10x Farscore to 6x
> Max 150 R/Q per day from you will give moxie 

Replies go from 5x Forscore to giving 3x Farscore each
> Max 300 Replies per day from you will give moxie

Furthermore, ⚡️ FarPower is coming in 2 weeks. 
> FarPower = Lock Fan Tokens (stake) to get higher boosts (min. 3 months)
> Can apply FarPower to any Fan Token 
> at that point: unlocked FarBoosts will be capped from then on
>LP Boosts will be uncapped

Cool to see Moxie listen to feedback about reply farming. 

Should improve replies for active casters.

What do you call ‘active casters’? what is the measuring bar?

Great news! Love anything that would make engagements return to their natural state. Nothing beats being genuine.

I agree that these are positive changes, the Moxie team is very proactive with making adjustments to the protocol, they listen to feedback, and are communicative with the community.  If Moxie succeeds, it will be a massive win for Farcaster.  I hope to see the majority of Farcasters rally around this project as they do with others.

What do you mean by reply farming? Isn't that what you should want for your protocol? For people to reply more and interact more with each other?

They mentioned on the call that this impacts only 1% of users. Any amount above zero is an improvement obviously, but do you think that is "enough"? The reply farming/baiting isn't necessarily done by the farmers blasting out 1000s of casts per day (as these are going to get ignored anyways), imo.
