Before Frames v2, farcaster apps used direct messages to notify users, and from a user perspective, I think notifications in DCs were quite better. Mostly because of the grouping, 1 chat = 1 app. Plus, you could easily search and check the history of app's notifications. Now, finding an old app notification is a mess

Agree on the parts that are better, but low clickthrough rate on DMs
