I expect WhatsApp-level performance from all chat software. Slack’s offline cache / slow network performance is lousy.

The chat experience is buggy quite frequently for a product at that scale? In general curios, what's your take on there being a good chat protocol that is as seamless as Whatsapp / telegram?
