google search traffic is not the best chart to look at. DAUs would be better. new posting activity even better. short text social is fragmenting and threads will be one of those fragments. it is far from Google+

That sounds right to me. I never thought Threads would kill Twitter. But it further fragments this category. And Twitters DAUs are declining
