What are we missing? Also worth pointing out that the next "big" project is onboarding directly to a channel. Rough idea: you can invite someone to Farcaster and when they sign up, they immediately join your channel(s) and their initial home feed is weighted toward your channels and people you interact with a lot. Should help solve having a group of people to interact with on Day 1 without worrying about not having access to channels and/or spam labeling.

Not sure how you feel about this, but this feels like a great opportunity to re-engage CT and dormant users around this new "primitive". Some people probably left because they felt overwhelmed. I wonder if there is a way for community mods to find those dormant users and try to bring them back in a decentralized way.

From your pov, what incentive do they have to spend time on Farcaster if they already have a strong community / audience on CT?

I, specifically, mean the people who do not have strong community/audience. CT is mostly a mish-mash of crypto announcements, thread bois, token pumpers, token-cultists, etc. Somehow so far FC has avoided this to the degree that CT has it. With communities now, these people can actually hang out with other "Eigendevs", "BTC L2 folks", "Near devs", and so on.
