Channel member migration plan 1. Last week, we previewed the upcoming channel changes 2. We want to ensure that existing channels have a set of members on Day 1 3. Weβre proposing automatically converting active followers β members for channels. 4. Weβre optimizing for something straightforward and pragmatic, not perfect. 5. Weβre looking for feedback on this proposal. https://warpcast.notion.site/Channel-member-migration-plan-10a6a6c0c101802fb900d3e45d879271

all followers becoming members, then manually removing/banning those who are spamming could work fine for /onchain-blocks too I am not sure if this is the best option but looks pretty straighforward

That's going to be a lot of work / chaos. I think better to start a bit more conservative.

99% of the followers will never become members π channel will have less than 27 members but 27k followers in this case (aprox) it is not a problem for me, just saying (tho, this may happen with other channels too and they may have other opinions)

so, this is the goal of the channel changes and not a side effect, got it, members are creators and the others are just followers.. not a fan of subdivide and tag people but could work to motivate some people to get a membership by being enough interesting.. feeling of rejection is a great motivator.. (for those who care about it..)
