Example of why building with crypto on mobile is still super hard. Until it works 99.9% of the time, no chance at mainstream adoption. (Unclear where the issue is here. Not Rodeo's fault.)

There’s a lot of mainstream apps that don’t work regularly or as easy as expected. Google Meet and Zoom for example. ATT mobile app for paying bills seems always broken. It’s not only about uptime. Perception and trust is probably important, the general public’s perception of crypto is that it’s not necessary. But that doesn’t mean the perception can’t be changed.

None of those are optional apps. Consumer social has amazing substitutes.

They’re optional, just higher cost to leave. I left Citi Bank because the app experience was so bad. And I pay my ATT bill on auto pay so I don’t need to use their app. But your point is still valid. If there’s better alternatives and the demand for crypto version is low, it will always be a battle
