Thanks for the update. I can’t do anything with moxie because of this because there isn’t an alternative link to purchase. It’s not moxie though. The “continue to wallet” hasn’t been working for me in over a month

Nobody is building vertically integrated - everyone is so hopped up on decentralization that products become a build-a-bear experience with random integration failures everywhere.

It's is not just with Rodeo. This also happens with Moxie daily claims. It goes to CB Wallet and then nothing happens. Google Chrome & CB extension usually works when nothing works. *With safari and wallet transactions, most issues happen with this combination.

Do you have an intuition for why app-to-wallet UX is so clunky? Plenty of apps use deep links. Why do web3 deep links always break?

I appreciate your trying to size & fix this. Is there an alt mobile app support frame tx w smart wallets that you know about? Will try that & see if it’s a cb issue. My hunch is it’s cb wallet’s limitation more than wc but🤷🏻‍♂️

There’s a lot of mainstream apps that don’t work regularly or as easy as expected. Google Meet and Zoom for example. ATT mobile app for paying bills seems always broken. It’s not only about uptime. Perception and trust is probably important, the general public’s perception of crypto is that it’s not necessary. But that doesn’t mean the perception can’t be changed.

Most people are just not patient enough to deal with it, so they'll skip it and move onto something else. Honestly, one of the refreshing things about your approach is that you're honest about the limits and what needs work instead of trying to push past them for a fast, but temporary, profit. It's a great sign for long-term sustainability, which makes it an even safer place for devs, builders, and creators to play in.

Totally agree. Coinbase Smart Wallet works like 70% of the time for me. I love it, I’m trying to make it my default, but there are def still issues to work out. I’ve also noticed that when their Smart Wallet fails it’s typically when the main Coinbase app passkey fails for me as well. Seems to be pretty consistently tied together. 🤷‍♂️
